About a year or 2 ago i used doom emacs to ssh into my home server, it’s almost the same as opening a file in my own computer so the experience is really seamless

You could also use syncthing so when you are conected to your lan you work folder will always be synced from one pc to another, that way you won’t have a bunch useless commits on git and you can still commit and push the changes from any computer
I just do a random program to help me with a problem or as small task
I always do a git status just to be sure before a commit
I’ve used kate a good time ago, it’s my favorite linux default gui text editor

I’ve been using a little, learned at the start of the month and really enjoyed, but since it don’t have many user sometimes is hard to find how to do something, it was easy to create a webserver but i really wanna to create a qt application with it (since i use kde plasma), but i can’t find a proper way of doing it
I agree, but OP is looking for a client alternative and not a complete alternative
Since instagram don’t allow third party clients you could have your account banned, not just that but sometimes those apps could come with malware or spyware, so i would avoid them.
I think that the best thing to do now is to report the bug on github

If you can have permission to change the files inside “Android/data/” with your script you can delete the files with a loop and “rm -rf {cache folder}”
Then i believe that it has a great potential of working out, it just need enough people aboard
