Pocket will be shutting down on July 8, 2025. This is very disappointing as I love the compatibility with my Kobo.

    I used to love Pocket … I remember they changed something, and then I refused to use it since. I don’t remember what it was now, though. I assume enshittification of some kind.

      they added recommendations. that’s when i stopped using it. i wanted a way to bookmark entire sites at once and then they started scraping the stuff i saved. then moz bought it and now the recommendation feature is the only thing they’re keeping around.
