Anecdotal but I’ve run Jellyfin publicly without any issues for around 5 years. It even has its own domain name.

Considering Russia kind of just put the final nail in the coffin for your democracy, probably Russia
I find it’s really good for asking extremely specific code questions
I keep thinking back to this article:
why did you immediately jump to the conclusion that the country being referred to was the US?
Probably because there’s really only one nationality of people who do this lol
Yeah there’s been multiple reports of white Canadian women being detained for weeks before being let go
Oh! I use something somewhat similar for when I do need to browse Reddit on mobile. It’s called Sink It for Reddit . It doesn’t affect old Reddit so much but makes the mobile site bearable
I just refuse to use the official mobile app. When they killed Apollo, I left. I’ll use old Reddit sometimes when on my desktop but all my mobile browsing is on Lemmy with Voyager
This is how I pronounce it in Canada
SmartTube is the best. There was a small period of time recently where it stopped working and it was so bad going back to regular YT that I just stopped watching entirely.
I moved all my domains over to FullHost.ca from NameCheap and they’ve been pretty good so far. As far as I can tell, they’re just a reseller but their support has been really good.
Agreed. I don’t think Americans appreciate how much the rest of the world hates (and has hated) American defaultism and exceptionalism.
I would love to see the USA balkanize into smaller countries
What’s that? Oh he just decided that he’s pulling the US into the Commonwealth now. The most stablest genius
and at least one AI model seems to agree
That actually made me laugh
I’m not as into rap lately but I used to really like Noname
I think one of the major reasons they wanted to close the free APIs was to prevent data scraping for AI models without paying the big dollars. Of course that also meant users would be limited to the service’s own apps with their own ads so it’s a bit of a win-win for them.
I’d imagine the only people paying the insane API prices are the AI/ML companies (edit: like google with its Reddit deal)
I have three Proxmox nodes named:
acid1
, freebones
, and a partially decommissioned node aptly named pve
acid1 was named from a sticker I got in a big collection. I was extra sold on the name when I did some research into acid1 tests.
freebones is from an inside joke from a GPT3.5 bot I terribly finetuned using my friend groups entire chat history. At one point the bot randomly said “algebra: you get free bones” and I kind of just ran with that
It’s been deleted now 🤔
Wtf Air Canada? Air France too
