I had an older cat that had broken hips that healed wrong. So when he laid down, he did this weird sploot on his belly that cats normally don’t do. One of my younger cats imprinted on him, and also did the sploot. The first cat died, the other one splooted that way the rest of her life

I’m trying to figure out which one is the new cat from how practiced each cat is eating in this posture. I think the black and white cat is the new cat.

the other is chubbier, suggesting more practice.

The one that’s been overfed for longer is the older cat.

That’s why I chose the left as the new cat, the right seems paunchy

Why don’t modern restaurants have triclinia? I’d be there every day.

Would people have to remove their shoes to eat?

Reminds me of the boondocks episode where that restaurant has beds in it, they serve burgers on donuts as the bread.

They are so chill when eating because they are confident that there is no treat around them and nothing to rush.

The Romans believed eating whist sitting upright was for the lower classes, instead reclining on long chairs to eat 🍇🛋️
